Health & Safety
The health, safety and welfare of our workers, subcontractors
and visitors to all our worksites is the first priority to OMI
Services. We provide and maintain the workplace, equipment and
tools to ensure workers and the public are not exposed to
unnecessary hazards. A team-effort approach is applied for
communicating to, educating and training everyone regarding
workplace hazards and how to control them. Applicable
Occupational Health and Safety Legislation is fully implemented
at all worksites.
Quality
OMI operates to ISO 9001:2000 standards. It has a wide range of
government, CWB, and other certifications necessary to carry out
its mission.
Environment
Protecting the environment is important to OMI Services. We
use environment-friendly products, reduce waste by recycling and
reusing, and we are committed to ensuring proper disposal of any
hazardous waste in accordance with provincial regulations. We
encourage all company personnel to implement the same practices
at home.
