OMI Services Limited is a Newfoundland-owned and -operated company established to meet the needs of the commercial and industrial sectors. The company specializes in 24/7 response to customer emergencies with certified welders, machinists, mechanics, pipe fitters and other highly skilled trades people. These same people provide routine plant maintenance and subcontractor services to contractors, owners, manufacturers and operators.

The company has a wide range of experience in a variety of industries. Building on the expertise and assets of the former Mercer’s Machine Shop and drawing on the experience of its affiliation with D. F. Barnes Limited, the new company can provide the onsite and offsite services of well trained skilled trades teams to handle almost any job. OMI maintains large 24/7 vendor networks and strategic alliances to assist in customer emergencies.

We have a fully equipped machine shop, metal fabrication facility, sheet metal shop and machine service centre to handle a broad array of regular and emergency situations. Proficiency and inventory are maintained in steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass and galvanized plate. Our inventory includes a wide range of parts, fittings and other equipment to assist with emergency requirements.
